Drop off is at approx: 5pm – to the same place. We advise you not to book any flights on the last day before: 9pm

Important things to note about your tour:

  • You have booked an active tour. This tour requires excellent physical fitness.
    • Pre-existing conditions must be discussed with Bindlestiff Tours prior to departure.
    • You must be able to carry a minimum of 20-25 lbs downhill/ uphill for 25 – 45 minutes without pain or resistance.
    • Your guide will not be able to carry their own pack and yours – please remember this – and make sure this is the right trip for you!
  • Live commentary is provided in English.
  • Please ensure that you have a light breakfast before you join the tour.
  • A 40 liter pack is recommended for hiking to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and up – anything larger is NOT recommended or required. You are required to carry your backpack down and up – with the weight of your pack being a big factor. No sleeping bag/mat or camping equipment required – all bedding is provided.
  • We highly recommend travel/medical insurance, please have your insurance details and your passport/photo ID ready for inspection at departure. You may also choose to travel without insurance, although we highly recommend that you have medical coverage in place.
  • The luggage allowance for this tour is up to 20kgs per person either a hard case or a backpack plus a small day bag for your camera, sunscreen etc. If you have excess luggage, please arrange with your Las Vegas hotel to store it for you. You will not be permitted to join this tour with more than your permitted luggage weight.
  • We do not provide water on this tour. We require our guests to bring a refillable container. We recommend bringing 2 water bottles or a 2-3 liter camel back for this tour. Water fill ups are infrequent, so carrying this much water is critical.
  • There are many opportunities for nature on this tour – incredible views and photos.
  • It is customary to tip your guide. 15-20% per person is the recommended amount for this tour.
