If Time Is Limited, Visit Bryce And Zion

You are finally taking that Las Vegas vacation that you have always dreamed about, good for you.  In one of the world’s greatest cities for entertainment, hotels, casinos and restaurants it is hard not to have a good time.  But before you make plans for every day of your trip, we have a tip for you.  Because Las Vegas was born as a stopover in the middle of the desert for people who are traveling from the east coast to California, we are actually perfectly situated to be only short distances from some of the best national parks and protected spaces in the country.  Few people realize that when you are sitting in Las Vegas you are only 2 hours drive from Zion, and only four hours drive from the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley and Bryce Canyon.  The American southwest is one of the most beautiful areas on earth, and it would be a shame to come all this way and not experience a little bit of what our great outdoors can provide.  You are going to notice really fast that most of the casinos and hotels are pretty much the same, but you are never going to see anything like our national parks again.  Don’t waste the travel time that it took you to come all the way to Las Vegas and miss the awesome natural landscape that is only a short drive away.  We can make it easy for you, we drive the buses and take care of all the tour arrangements for you, so you don’t even have to think about it.

If you are coming to Las Vegas and only have a few days, we suggest taking two of them to visit our nearby national parks.  We have put together a special package that leaves on Thursday mornings and returns you to Las Vegas by Friday night, which will allow you to experience the beauty of Bryce and Zion over that period.  We travel to Bryce first (which is about a 4 hour drive) and we hike and explore that day before camping overnight in the park.  The park itself is spectacular, and there is nothing that can compare to camping within distance of the world famous “hoodoos” that define the park.  The next day we are up bright and early to drive the two hours to Zion, which is one of the most popular national parks in the country.  Zion is completely different than Bryce, and provides it’s own beautiful scenery and landscapes that will not soon be forgotten.  Because Zion is two hours closer to Las Vegas than Bryce, after we have spent the day hiking and exploring you can relax on the two hour trip home and be ready for your night out in Las Vegas later that night.  We have found that our guests who are only available for limited times prefer this shorter tour, but always remember that if you have three days to spare you can take our tour that visits both of these parks plus Monument Valley!
