Its A Perfect Time For A Zion Tour

You have always wanted to see Zion Canyon National Park, hike it’s famous trails and witness first hand some of the most spectacular landscapes on earth.  If you do not live in the southwestern portion of the US in a state like Nevada or Arizona, you are probably going to want to arrange for your visit to start in Las Vegas, as it is the nearest city that supports major airline traffic.  Since Las Vegas itself is one of the biggest tourist cities on earth, there are more than a few flights to choose from in nearly every price range, so you should have no problem getting to the city in order to begin your adventure.  If you are going to make the most of it, why not stay a few extra days in Las Vegas as well?

If you are going to travel from Las Vegas to Zion, you will need to make plans to do so.  Driving yourself is a bit of a hassle, as it is about 2.5 hours from the city to the park entrance.  One thing that has taken shape over the past few years that many people do not realize is that Zion has become very popular as a destination.  This can mean waits in traffic for parking as well as other services that are available while there.  These difficulties can be avoided by simply allowing us to be your tour guide on your Zion trip.  A pro-tip for beginners is that tour companies like ours can navigate through the parks easier due to our permits.  You will not have to worry about driving, parking or any of the little inconveniences that crowds bring with them.  We take care of everything for you so that your trip is all about adventure and not about inconvenience.

Now is the best time of year to go to Zion.  If you wait too far into the summer, the temperatures can get quite uncomfortable.  When it goes upwards of 100 degrees in the desert, it can take some of the fun out of hiking and exploring that cooler weather brings.  For the next few weeks, the average temperatures in the park will be in the mid-80s and night times will be in the 60s.  This is perfect weather for both hiking and also camping, and in a few weeks the weather will still be beautiful but will tire you out far more during the day.  You have to remember that you are in the desert, and the strength of the sun is more than you might have experienced before.  Because you are going to want to be out and exploring the park, too much sun can make it less than enjoyable as well.

Our experienced guides know the best parts of Zion, and will lead your group on an adventure that will not soon be forgotten.  If you have ever planned on visiting Zion, look at our one day trips as well as our multi-day trips that also visit Bryce and The Grand Canyon.
