Las Vegas, Zion and Bryce

There are a few national parks that are discussed as short tours when people are visiting Las Vegas, because many people like to create different types of activities during their trip. Even though Las Vegas is primarily known for it’s glittering lights, entertainment and gambling many people may not realize that it’s location also makes it a perfect starting point for tours of some of the best national parks in the country. National parks require driving to reach them in pretty much all circumstances, so if you are going on vacation to a city that just happens to be within a short drive to a national park, why not use that vacation to also visit a breathtaking natural space in addition to your typical Las Vegas tourist attractions? If you build 1 to 3 extra days into your trip, you can easily tour various national parks in the vicinity as well.

When using Las Vegas as the starting point for national parks tour, you are probably going to want to visit Zion Canyon first. The majority of the parks are more than four hours drive from the city but Zion is actually located only 2.5 hours drive away.  It is also on the way to most of the other parks, so even if you are visiting the Grand Canyon and Zion is not directly in the driving path, it still makes sense to plan to visit it first because it is heading in that direction. Zion is considered one of the most beautiful and breathtaking areas on earth, and should be considered as a logical stop even if your plan was to see a different park. Because of it’s location it is also common for Las Vegas tourists to simply make a one day trip to Zion before returning that night, although this type of trip is a little rushed feeling. For those with limited time to spend, we prefer a two day trip that visits Zion first then moves on to Bryce, which is about two hours from Zion. When planning trips of these kinds, you need to realize that you will be traveling and exploring on the same days, so figuring the long drive as one part of the trip at the end makes sense. You will have time to drive and explore on the same days as long as you do not spend more than a few hours driving on that day, and at the end when you will not longer be hiking and exploring you can drive the straight shot back to the starting point. Both Zion and Bryce have their individual features which are unique and spectacular, and about as many people will consider Bryce the best place to visit as will consider Zion the same. When you are using your proximity n Las Vegas as the deciding factor for the parks you are going to visit, the Las Vegas to Zion to Bryce path makes sense to reduce driving time and maximizing the time you can explore the area. https://www.bindlestifftours.com/package/bryce-tours-and-zion-tours-overnight/
