Leave From Las Vegas For Bryce Tours

National parks tours are sometimes difficult to organize, due to the fact that nearly all national parks are located in remote areas that are going to require a significant amount of car travel in order to reach.  If you do not live within about 300 miles of the national park you wish to tour, you are probably better off flying in to the airport in the city nearest to that park and then arranging ground transport from that city.  Generally this will save both time and money, due to the fact that the flight from your home will save driving time, and nearly always be within the range that you would pay for gas alone.  The drive to national parks is nearly always a bit difficult for people who are used to driving in the city, due to the fact that the parks are isolated and are not surrounded by development. This means that hundreds of miles can be in between areas that have houses or businesses, and the monotony of the driving itself tends to be difficult. This is magnified for southwestern national parks which are located in more remote desert areas, so the landscape that is being driven through will look the same for large stretches of road. When  there is little to no variation in the landscape, it can be difficult to stay awake for drivers that are not used to it.

If Bryce Canyon is a tour that you have been wanting to do, your best bet if you do not live in Nevada or in Arizona is to fly into Las Vegas or Salt Lake City to start the trip. Las Vegas makes more sense for most people due to the fact that the flights into the city are usually cheaper, because Las Vegas is a more popular than Salt Lake City. Because of the tourist traffic, you can also find hotels and restaurants that are more affordable, and will be more appropriate to serve you. The drive from Las Vegas to Bryce is around four hours through the desert, so many people will actually break up the drive by planning a visit to Zion Canyon first.  Because Zion is located about 2.5 hours from Las Vegas and is on the way to Bryce Canyon, you have the ability to break up the trip into more manageable blocks of driving time, and also see another equally beautiful national park on the same trip. People who take this route will usually add at least one extra day to the entire trip, to compensate for time that will be spent in Zion.

Bryce Canyon is one of the best tours available in the American southwest, and if it is structured correctly it can be done without too much exhausting travel time. If you feel that you would be more comfortable leaving the driving to someone more familiar with the area, simply arrange for one of our tours from Las Vegas that includes Bryce Canyon. The cost of our tours is usually only slightly  more than the gas and rental car fees that you would pay anyway.
