Zion Tours

Zion Canyon National Park has become one of the most popular tourist destinations in the United States over the course of the past few years.  This may actually surprise some people due to the fact that only a few years ago national parks were struggling to justify federal funding to keep them up due to low tourism numbers.  While the actual reasons that the tourism was depressed at national parks is debatable, one fact is that when the advertising campaign “find your park” was launched in order to draw attention to the wonderful protected spaces in the United States, the problem was virtually solved.  Tourism numbers at nearly every National Park were increased, however Zion Canyon saw numbers increase far greater than the other nearby parks.  The main reason that this occurred was probably due to the fact that Zion is actually quite close to Las Vegas, and when you are considering that aside from locals who would visit the nearby parks by driving themselves the majority of visitors to these areas were travelers who do not live within driving distance.  This means that if you were planning a trip to Zion Canyon, Bryce, Monument Valley or the Grand Canyon, you were going to need to fly into a nearby city and then rent a car to drive to the park.  Because Zion Canyon is only a 2.5 hour drive from Las Vegas, it naturally became the most popular park in the area, drawing far more visitors than others.  Zion Canyon has grown so popular that there is now a push to figure out ways to alleviate the congestion of cares driving in and parking, which is making some people’s visits to the park less than enjoyable.  Luckily, we have a solution.
