Drop off is at approx: 6pm – at the same location. We advise you not to book any flights on the last day before: 10pm

Important things to note about your tour:

  • You have booked a camping tour. (Yes, this means tents!)
  • Please ensure that you have had breakfast before you join the tour.
  • We do not provide water on this tour. We encourage our guests to bring a refillable container. This may be as simple as a refillable (Nalgene) 1 liter bottle purchased from any outdoor shop. You may refill this every time we make a comfort stop – water stops are frequent and often in Alaska.
  • We highly recommend travel/medical insurance, please have your insurance details and your passport/photo ID ready for inspection at departure. You may also choose to travel without insurance, although we highly recommend that you have medical coverage in place.
  • The luggage allowance for this tour is up to 20kgs per person either a hard case or a backpack plus a small day bag for your camera, sunscreen etc. If you have excess luggage, please arrange with your Anchorage accommodations to store it for you. You will not be permitted to join this tour with more than your permitted luggage weight.
  • It is customary to tip your guide. $100 per person is the recommended amount for this tour.

  • 3 season sleeping bag

  • Flashlight/Headlamp (if this tour is after Aug 15th)

  • Rain Gear – (just in case)
  • Walking shoes
  • Warm sweater for the evenings / Extra layers if it gets cold at night /Cotton not recommended
  • Casual street clothes for at night and camp
  • Swimsuit
  • Mosquito Spray just in case
  • Hiking pants
  • Comfortable walking shoes
  • Please have your local payment ready of $115 in US dollars.
