Day Tours Of The Grand Canyon From Las Vegas

When you land at the airport in Las Vegas, you will immediately begin seeing the advertisements for day tours of the Grand Canyon.  You will see billboards on your way to your hotel, and you will see advertisements in the airport itself.  You might have not realized that Las Vegas was so close to the Grand Canyon, and figure that since you came this far it would be tragic to not take a day out of your vacation to visit one of the most iconic places on earth.  Before you book your tour though, ask the company if you are visiting the Grand Canyon National Park.  This is one of the most important tips we can give you, because for the last several years companies have been offering tours leaving from Las Vegas and returning the same day that visit the Grand Canyon.  What is unfortunate is that the people who book these tours are rarely told that this is not going to be the Grand Canyon you expect.  It is actually a different area of the Grand Canyon that is outside of the National Park space, controlled by local Indian tribes.  While it is certainly beautiful in it’s own right, this is not the area you have seen in books and magazines.  This area is actually located about 2 hours from Las Vegas instead of the four hours it takes to get to the actual National Park, and has recently had a push of marketing in the attempt to lure Las Vegas visitors and tourists to it.  Marketed as a short one day trip that includes the Skywalk, a glass bridge suspended over the canyon floor, it is not the Grand Canyon National Park where there is so much to do like hiking and rafting.  The Skywalk is a tourist attraction designed to fit into the day plans of tourists visiting Las Vegas.

Bindlestiff Tours is an adventure tour company, and we feel that the man made structures at the other area would not provide our guests with the full beauty of the area.  This is why we have decided to provide a one day tour of the Grand Canyon National Park, which actually does provide a single day experience of the iconic area.  Because the tour is specialized, we offer it as a private event that can be had if you have up to five people in your party.  This will give you and your group the ability to pick and choose the things that you want to do, as opposed to the pre-planned tours that others offer.  There is so much to do and see at the Grand Canyon that we feel that it is best to allow the group to decide the day.  Of course you will be provided with suggestions from our experienced tour guides, but ultimately the day is yours to create.  It is tough to go wrong with the backdrop of the Grand Canyon behind you, so we are sure that you will get the experience of a lifetime.
