The Grand Canyon Awaits You

So you are coming to Las Vegas on vacation! Being residents, we are sure that you will find the Strip to be unbelievable, and the glittering neon to be beyond anything you have seen before.  But we want to also let you know that you are coming to a place that is only a few hours away from another sight that is unbelievable, one that is not made by man.  The Grand Canyon is a half-day drive from Las Vegas, and because of that close proximity you should take some time out of your trip to visit it while you are here.

The trip to the Grand Canyon that you take is going to depend on the amount of time that you have to spend.  We offer a few different packages to our guests in order to accommodate your schedule, because we realize that everyone doesn’t have multiple days to spend during their vacation.  The best option would be if you have three days to spare, then we can take you on our “National Parks Tour” which visits Zion Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Monument Valley, Antelope Canyon and the Grand Canyon before returning home.  You will spend full days hiking and exploring, and camp under the stars in our beautiful national parks in between.  There is certainly nothing like it, and if you really want to get a sense of the diversity and beauty of the American Southwest, this is the tour to take.  However we also understand that for some people three days is a long time to take away from their Vegas vacation, so for them we offer a Grand Canyon tour that only takes one day.  Because it takes about 4.5 hours to get there, we start early and drive straight to the South Rim of the canyon.  This is not a tour of the West Rim which offers the Skywalk because we prefer to give our guests the natural experience of the Grand Canyon instead of the manmade tourist attractions.  There is actually very little to do on the West Rim aside from the Skywalk, so even though it is closer to Las Vegas than the South Rim, we prefer to tour the more traditional area that has always been the view point that people choose.  Chances are the pictures you have seen of the Grand Canyon were taken from the South Rim, and that is where the helicopter rides, mule rides, hiking and rafting has always taken place.

Because our tours are “adventure style tours” instead of just sightseeing, we think that it is far better to tour the South Rim and experience the wonders of the canyon from an experience standpoint, rather than just looking at it.  There is nothing wrong with the Skywalk, we just like to give our visitors a little more than that.  The South Rim is far more diverse with plants and animals, and is less of a desert climate than the West Rim.  This tour is offered to our guests in a private tour setting, meaning that it is for groups that can take up an entire van themselves.  This will give you the option of choosing the activities you want to do in a limited timeframe before returning back.  See the Grand Canyon the way you want to with our one-day private tour now.
