Zion Canyon Tours

If you are a visitor to Las Vegas and are interested in exploring one of the best National Parks in the entire United States, we would suggest one of our Zion Canyon tours.  Zion Canyon is one of the most beautiful and adventurous National Parks in the country, and holds the distinction of being Utah’s first National Park.  When touring Zion Canyon, you will be walking in the footsteps of the pioneers who settled the American southwest as well as the ancient native people who inhabited the area for thousands of years.  The park is awash with some of the most breathtaking scenery on earth, the most obvious being the enormous sandstone cliffs which feature brilliant reds, pinks and cream colors against a backdrop of a brilliant blue sky.  A narrow slot canyon running through the park provides some of the best hiking opportunities available, where you will observe an array of animals and plants which are unique to Zion.  The rich history of the area’s past blends together with the modern time to provide a once in a lifetime experience for any adventurer.

The wildlife inside Zion National Park features some species which are protected as well as endangered, and which can be seen nowhere else on earth except for a few places in the American southwest.  The Peregrine falcon, the California condor, and the bald eagle are all able to be found within the confines of the park.  In 1970 there were only 39 pairs of breeding Peregrine falcons left on earth, and partly due to the conservation effort within parks like Zion, today there are more than 4,000 pairs of breeding falcons flying the skies.

The Narrows is the most popular hike in Zion Canyon.  It is the narrowest section of the gorge and features towering walls over a thousand feet high.  There is a river which flows through the gorge which is only 20 to 30 feet wide, and sightseeing in the Narrows is even available to wheelchair bound folks from the paved Riverside Walk, which is one mile from the Temple of Sinawava. Hiking through the Virgin River via wading, or potentially taking an all day hike down the side is possible.

There are many options that Bindlestiff Tours offers which will allow you to experience Zion Canyon.  Of course our custom tours can offer Zion as a destination in any package you wish, but there are also group tours available that will offer Zion as part of a multiple-park experience.  Our National Park 3 Day Tour features Zion as well as Antelope Canyon, Bryce Canyon National Park, Grand Canyon National Park, Lake Powell and Monument Valley.  We have a 2 Day Bryce and Zion Tour which will spend a little more time inside each of the two parks, and if that isn’t enough for you we also have tours that last 12 and 21 days where you will be immersed in the beauty of several National Parks over the course of the time.  Our National Parks Winter Tour is also quite popular in the colder months.  Contact Bindlestiff Tours today to arrange the adventure of a lifetime and to experience the majestic beauty of Zion National Park.
