The Grand Canyon is one of the most spectacular landscapes on earth, and is one of the sights that should be seen by everyone at least once in their life. When many people think of the Grand Canyon, they have an impression that it is just a view point looking over a huge canyon, and you only go there to take a picture and then leave. Luckily, nothing is further from the truth and there is a tremendous amount of things to do and see in the Grand Canyon, as long as you have booked a tour to the correct area. It is common for tourists to Las Vegas to book a one-day tour of the Grand Canyon that only takes a short time out of your vacation and offers you little more than a photo opportunity. What is unfortunate for the people who book these tours is that they are not going to the Grand Canyon that they have seen in books and magazines, and instead are going to an area outside of the national park space. Unfortunately, this is still technically the Grand Canyon, so you may not have the experience you thought you would and yet the company has not lied to you. This is an area of Indian land known as the West Rim which struggled for tourism for many years. A recent marketing campaign and attraction has lured Las Vegas tourists to book tours to this area, not being known to them that they are not going to the place that offers all the scenes they have seen in magazines. For that, you must tour the South Rim which is the national park section of the area. This region is located about 4.5 hours drive from Las Vegas, and is best seen as part of a multi-day trip, or an overnight camping trip.

Many people who are interested in tours of the Grand Canyon would like to also avoid the crowds. Even a group of a few people may be unsafe to put together into a van for an extended period of time currently, so one of the trending topics with regards to questions people may have about their tours are if they can limit the amount of people involved to being just their group.  Typically the grand canyon tour would put upwards of 14 people into a van together in order to make a small group, but in order to create and a social distancing for people to be safe in the current time we have decided to reduce the amount of people needed to qualify for a private tour down to four.  This means that a typical family will be able to have a private tour of the grand canyon from Las Vegas without incurring the added expense that would typically be to book all of the seats on a van.  Inquire quickly as if these new lower price deals on private tours will not last forever.
