There are 62 protected spaces in the United States which receive Federal funding and protection as part of the national park system.  These are known as national Parks, and through acts of Congress they are designated as needing protection against development and encroaching from modern development.  Through an act of Congress, and the area is able to be designated as national park which provides it with protection against private development as well as providing it with Federal funding that will go towards creation of tourist-friendly aspects.  In organic act of 1916 it was the one that created the national park service in an attempt to prevent the destruction of our natural and beautiful spaces heir, as well as to provide the ability for future generations to enjoy them and we have in the past.  One of the least palatable aspects of the United States is a continual push toward continued development, and only through the protection of specific regions are we able to prevent this completely. The first national park that was designated was Yellowstone in 1872, through act of Congress signed by President Ulysses S Grant.  And since then and 61 more areas have been designated as national Parks and therefore received Federal protection and grants order to maintain their beauty.  While homes will continually push back against Federal money going toward the protection against development, this stage and I’m all citizens are able to visit the national Parks as they wish.  In addition to United States citizens, anyone from anywhere in the world is able to visit the beauty of our united state park system through paying only an entrance fee.

National Parks of the United States are generally remote and not located very close to developed cities.  This will drive down pores and rates to the fact that most drive to get there and most national Parks are located more than 4 hours from developed area.  There are exceptions to this rule however, one of the most obvious the Zion Canyon National Park which is located only two and half hours from Las Vegas.  When tourism numbers were low and were being challenged by opponents, the simple advertising campaign brought attention to the fact that you can fly into Las Vegas and drive to Zion Canyon National Park in only two and half hours.  This created in large amount of tours traffic to Zion did not exist before, simply through the explanation that you could take a vacation to Las Vegas and only take one day out of your itinerary to visit one of the most pristine and impressive natural spaces in the country.  For those who are interested in tour in national Parks that are located outside of Las Vegas, there are certain to choose from which are all within the hour drive.  We can arrange for transportation and other arrangements for you, just contact the office directly to our website for more information.
